Ear piercing in Bournemouth
Ear lobes are the most popular first piercing. They're £20 for one or £30 for a pair, from age 10, and usually heal in 6–8 weeks.
Cartilage piercings are £30 each from age 14 and take longer to heal:
- Helix and forward helix: 3–6 months
- Tragus: 3–6 months
- Conch: 6–9 months
- Rook: 6–9 months
- Daith: 4–9 months
Industrial / scaffold is two cartilage piercings joined by one straight bar. It's £40 from age 16 and takes around 6–9 months to heal. We start cartilage piercings with flat-back labret studs rather than hoops, because they move less and heal more calmly. Hoops can come later once the piercing has settled. Nose and septum piercing in Bournemouth
Nostril piercings are £25 from age 14. The procedure takes a few minutes, and most people rate it around 2–4 out of 10 for pain. Expect 8–16 weeks to heal.
Septum piercings are £35 from age 14. They usually settle in 6–8 weeks and are fully healed in 3–4 months. You can flip a septum ring up out of sight once it has healed.
Eyebrow piercing
£30 from age 14. An eyebrow is a surface-type piercing, so good aftercare matters to avoid rejection. Expect 2–4 months to heal.
Lip, labret and oral piercings
Labret £35 (pair £55), vertical labret £35, Madonna or Medusa £40, smiley £35, tongue £40, all from age 16. Lip and labret piercings generally heal in 6–12 weeks depending on placement. Rinse with alcohol-free mouthwash after eating or drinking, stick to soft foods for the first few days, and avoid oral contact while it heals.
Navel (belly button) piercing
£35 from age 14. Your piercer will check your anatomy first, because not every navel suits a standard piercing. Expect 6–9 months to heal fully.
Nipple piercing
£35 for one or £60 for a pair, 18+ only. Nipple piercings usually heal in 4–6 months and can take up to a year. Wear breathable cotton, avoid pools and saunas for the first few weeks, and don't twist the jewellery.
Surface piercings and dermal anchors
Surface piercings are £45. Dermal anchors are £45 for one or £70 for two. Cheek piercings are £40 or £60 for a pair. All are from age 16, and surface and dermal piercings take around 6–9 months to heal.
What's included with every piercing
