If you are walking past our studio on Old Christchurch Road and fancy a tattoo today, the first question is usually "how much?". Here is how walk-in pricing works at Timebomb Bournemouth, what is included, and how to keep the cost down without cutting corners.
Walk-in tattoos start from £50
Small walk-in tattoos start from £50. That covers simple linework, small script and small flash designs. Our full price list is on the tattoo styles and prices page.
Anything bigger is priced on the design itself. Your artist will look at it with you and give you a price before any stencil goes on, so there are no surprises at the till.
What changes the price of a walk-in tattoo
- Size. A 3cm symbol and a palm-sized piece take very different amounts of time.
- Detail. Fine shading, tiny lettering and lots of colour all add time.
- Placement. Ribs, hands, feet and other awkward or stretchy areas are slower to tattoo.
- Custom drawing. Picking from flash is quicker than having something drawn from scratch.

What is included
- A consultation with the artist before you start, so the design, size and placement are right.
- Single-use needles and a studio registered with BCP Council (registration no. MAU215369).
- A Second Skin film dressing on your new tattoo.
- Aftercare advice. Whitfields aftercare balm is available at the studio for £8 (RRP £12).

When booking works out better value
Walk-ins are best for small pieces. If you want something larger, a booked session is usually better value. A half day is £250 and a full day is £450, with a £50 deposit to secure your slot that comes off the final price. Check our current offers too, as we sometimes run half-day and full-day discounts.
How to check if we can fit you in
Walk-ins run Monday to Saturday from 11am, with the last walk-in tattoo at 5pm, whenever an artist is free.
