At Timebomb Bournemouth you can get tattooed two ways: walk in and see who is free, or book a set time with an artist. Both are good options. Which one suits you depends on the size of the tattoo, how much drawing it needs, and how flexible you can be.

When a walk-in makes sense

  • The tattoo is small and simple: linework, a symbol, a name, a small flash piece.
  • You are happy to pick from flash or have something quick drawn up.
  • You can be flexible on timing and do not mind waiting if the artists are busy.
  • You are in town for the day and want something to remember it by.

Walk-ins run Monday to Saturday from 11am, with the last walk-in tattoo at 5pm, whenever an artist is free. Small tattoos start from £50. Read how it works on our walk-in tattoos page.

When to book an appointment

  • The tattoo is bigger than your palm or has a lot of shading or colour.
  • You want a fully custom design drawn for you before the day.
  • You want a particular artist, or a guest artist while they are at the studio.
  • It is a cover-up, a sleeve or a multi-session piece.
  • You need a fixed time, for example around work or travel.

Booked work is priced at £250 for a half day and £450 for a full day, with a £50 deposit to secure your slot that comes off the final price. Full details are on our tattoo prices page.

The middle ground: walk in for a chat

Not sure? Pop in for a free consultation. An artist can look at your idea, tell you honestly whether it can be done today, and if not, book you in. You can also WhatsApp us on 07752 913846 with a photo and the size you want and we will tell you which route makes sense.

Guest artists

We regularly host guest artists from around the world, including @diegotatts and @romidarkline (Chile), @zms_tattoo (Hungary) and @alexlondontattoo (Russia). Guest spots fill quickly, so they are nearly always booked rather than walk-in. Follow @timebombbournemouth on Instagram to hear when spots open.

How to book

Use our online tattoo booking form, message us on WhatsApp, or call 01202 900050. For a step-by-step guide, read how to book a tattoo appointment in Bournemouth. Whichever way you choose, tattoos are strictly 18+ and you will need original photo ID.
